Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Baylor University. Her background as an athlete inspires her passion for a multi-dimensional approach to health, fitness, and movement.
Sarah is especially passionate about “prehab” and injury prevention, as well as helping clients return to activity stronger and even more resilient than they were before. Her clinical experience includes working with collegiate baseball and softball players, triathletes, and military servicemembers—populations that have reinforced her commitment to optimizing performance, promoting longevity in sport, and preventing reinjury. She values teamwork between therapist and client, and loves collaborating to identify, address, and prevent movement-related challenges through individualized, evidence-based care.
Sarah’s Passions:
Outside the clinic, you can find Sarah cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners and Denver’s pro teams with her Colorado-native husband, soaking up the California sunshine, lifting weights, or learning to restore and build furniture.

Dr. Frizzi is a Northern California native who earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of California, San Francisco and San Francisco State University. Before becoming a physical therapist, she worked as a personal trainer, weightlifting coach, and soccer coach—an experience that shaped her belief in the power of strength, movement quality, and proper load management for long-term performance.
Her own background as a competitive soccer player and her journey through injury inspired a passion for helping youth and adult athletes alike stay healthy and perform at their highest level. Clinically, Dr. Frizzi focuses on weightlifting and program development, neuromuscular reeducation, and return-to-sport testing. She enjoys bridging the gap between rehab and performance, helping athletes not only recover from injury but return stronger and more resilient than before.
After several years working as a travel physical therapist across the U.S., Dr. Frizzi returned home to California with her dog, Maverick. She’s excited to bring her broad clinical experience and athlete-centered approach to the Bay Area community.
Jacqui’s Passions:
Outside the clinic, you’ll find Jacqui running or hiking with Maverick, playing or watching sports, or searching for the next great coffee spot. She’s an avid traveler and competitor—whether that means tackling marathons, 100k bike rides, snowboarding, or a spirited family game for the title of favorite auntie. Her bucket list includes a trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights.

Dr. Winter is a Seattle native who earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. Her background as a strength and conditioning coach has deeply influenced her approach to physical therapy. She emphasizes building strength and resilience, empowering clients to exceed their goals while equipping them with knowledge to manage their health independently. As a trail and ultramarathon runner, Dr. Winter brings firsthand knowledge of the demands of long-distance running—including high training volumes, the balance between performance and recovery, and how these factors relate to injury. Her personal experience gives her a practical, informed approach to treating both trail and road runners holistically. She combines current research with real-world insight to address and prevent future running-related injuries in the context of training load, biomechanics, and long-term athletic goals. Her clinical interests include working with female endurance athletes, bone stress injuries, tendinopathies, postpartum return to sport, and women’s health.
Lexi’s Passions
Dr. Winter spends much of her free time traveling to trail run back home in the north cascades or east to the Sierras. She also enjoys weightlifting, road biking, snowboarding, and drinking (a lot of!) coffee & listening to podcasts (specifically SWAP… check it out!)

Dr. Milliken received her doctorate of physical therapy from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. Prior to pursuing her doctorate, she studied biology and psychology at the University of Oregon for her bachelor’s degree, with a special interest in behavioral neuroscience. There, she competed on the club equestrian team, tutored student athletes, and developed a passion for strength training.
After graduating from UO, Dr. Milliken spent two years working both in a physical therapy clinic as an aide and in a neuroscience lab (and, of course, ultimately found her true passion with physical therapy!). Within the field, she has a special interest in biomechanical analysis — she contributed largely to a research project at George Fox which investigated the relationships between an individual’s activity level, the anatomical structures of the foot, and the biomechanics within the foot and ankle.
Dr. Milliken is passionate about being an advocate for her clients’ physical and mental health. With a combination of her technical knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, as well as her background in neuroscience, she’s able to implement a holistic approach to understanding the client as a whole person.
